HOW IT ALL BEGAN...

When the pandemic hit, and the world stood still in March 2020, Mel Lim, the Founder, and CEO of Maspira Groupe, a single mother of two beautiful boys, Evan (Preston) and Tyler (Harrison), were thrown into unchartered territories. Like many families, they faced challenges navigating shelter-in-place, remote working and learning, lack of childcare support, and economic uncertainties. But it was also through the quiet time, Mel Lim and the kids rediscovered what "family time" meant and what brought them joy as a family. They started by resetting their home, from redesigning their home space to accommodate everyone working/earning from home to turning the dining room into their creative basecamp. Soon after, their morning daily ritual of drawing and painting together transpired a family business.

Creativity Begins
With Purpose

Knowledge guides decision-making. Knowing what you’re buying, what benefits it offers, and what outcomes to expect is the very minimum level of information customers need when purchasing health-related products. Power Flower gives customers real time information to help them feel confident in their wellness decisions. It believes customers deserve access to the latest research in order to make informed choices. To that end, Power Flower is creating infographics for its website. Its blog features the latest research materials and will soon have expert interviews discussing CBD.

Art For Cause

The children knew from day one how lucky they were, and when asked what they'd do if they were given the opportunity to help, they said they'd volunteer, raise awareness for causes they care about and adopt a dog from the shelter! (Yes, they did adopt Coco, the company's Chief Sniff and Play, from a local shelter and nurtured the sick dog to full health). 

From women's empowerment, climate action, children's health and education, and endangered or unwanted animals, the family is committed to giving in ways that help protect, uplift, and preserve people, the creatures on our planet, and Mother Earth.

 

Their business model is simple—when you shop, they donate. Every month, they will highlight a cause that is close to their hearts through their work.

Growth & Business Strategy

The purpose of this program was to help Preston and Harrison establish a blueprint for operating and a roadmap for action. Maspira Groupe defined Preston and Harrison's core values, identified strategic priorities, and pinpointed their key differentiators. In the business universe, every point along the way is connected and impacts the whole. Based on the companies defined long- and short-term goals, Maspira Groupe then established a robust roadmap outlining key activities and a plan for their execution. In every dimension of business, elements are in constant motion, shifting, changing, expanding and contracting. A company’s core values help it stay the course amid challenges, and guide it through key decisions around go-to-market strategies, product development, brand strategy, and strategic partnerships.

We helped identify opportunities to differentiate using the power of storytelling and technology to introduce the brand to the market.
